Cineworld Loughborough - Social Media Projects

Working at Loughborough Cineworld, I have played a crucial part in forming an online presence for the site through writing and directing short form videos and creating visually enticing imagery to promote current films, products or events.

These projects were a lot of fun to work on and were a great way to use innovation and creativity with no budget, no crew and only a cinema as a location.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire - ICEE frozen drink promo flavours

Treading the line between comedic and scary, with this video we aimed to replicate the world of Ghostbusters as closely as possible to not only create excitement for the film itself, but for the brand new ‘Lemon & Slimer’ and ‘Mini Mallow’ ICEE flavours.

A Muppet Christmas Carol - Re-release

Kermit decided to help us out with this one! We wanted to make Kermit a little self-absorbed, with him getting a ticket to his own movie to promote this re-release. It’s amazing what you can do with a puppet and someone with a spot-on Kermit impression!

Die Hard - 25 year anniversary re-release

With this video, we played into our low-budget set-up by poking fun at the over-the-top action classic ‘Die Hard’. With a box of popcorn as a grenade and dramatic music in the background, it’s just like the real thing!

National Dog Day

Paying attention to trends, events and days of the year are crucial in ensuring our content reaches as many people as possible. For this one, we decided to play around with National Dog Day by creating a ‘Dog vs Hot Dog’ video.
